This book is very interesting, there are a lot facts about the life of Einstein that I did not know. For example his elementary school teachers thought that he would never amount to anything, they thought that he was unteachable. But ever since he was young Albert showed that he was special, instead of mumbling words like a toddler he tried to speak in full sentences. Einstein loved to share the knowledge that he had and his brand new findings "Sometimes he found himself lecturing to his friends, or to his younger sister Maja," (Pirotta 23). The author's purpose in writing this book was to inform the audience. This book is well written in my opinion had one minor flaw but overall the author did a good job, Albert Einstein once said "If the facts don't fit the theory, change the facts" (Pirotta 23). What he means with this is that if your educated guess don't match up with the facts then prove your educated guess and then change the facts.
This book has impacted me in a positive way, it made want to learn more about the main character. It's use of vocabulary is vivid and it's outline a way that anyone can understand. I'm always gonna remember that Einstein was believed to be less smarter than his classmates. How wrong were they because this one man turned out to be a genius who has impacted society and scientist in a positive way. He paved the way for future scientist and some his works still puzzles scientist to this day. In my opinion he was taken too soon from us,but at least he explain his findings and theories in a way that anyone could understand.
I would recommend this book for sure, because it is informal and it is about someone who is very famous but unfortunately dead. All there is to do is open the first page and you will be hook just like I was. Just like everything has a weakness this book does also in my opinion its weakness is that it doesn't have more information(the book it's a long one). But it's greatest strength is that it is full of facts and knowledge that you most likely didn't know about Albert. This book was captivating indeed, it was thought-provoking, funny and really informational. I actually enjoy reading the book, and appreciated all the knowledge that I got from learning it. If you're out there looking to read a book about Albert this would be it.
