Oh my. More filler than actual book.

I assume from my own experience that Will promised his publishers a certain word count and found himself badly short. Hence all the chapters on gun specifics and history that are REALLY unnecessary.

The people buying this book are the people who watch the show. So they probably wanted to learn more about the show, the stuff we don't see on tv. the people behind the stories.

You'll get a little of this, I must admit as a fan of the show I learned very little I hadn't already seen from the show itself.

I am surprised Vince Buckles got no mention at all so I guess this book was written when there was still bad blood between them.

With Will's recent issues, there almost certainly be another season of the show so this is your last hurrah with Red Jacket and Will himself. Frankly, I don't think it's worth your hard earned money.

An easy read, I think I blew through it in under 2 hours. This book certainly seemed to catch the voice of the man (and woman) I see on TV. I watch to simply enjoy watching things go "bang."

Hayden imparts his basic/simple views on life, ethics, and lessons learned, as well as insights on some of his family and workers.

Current events aside this book gives a behind the scene's look at Will Hayden and Red Jacket Firearms. The book is hard to follow at times due to the ramblings of Will Hayden. The topics flip flop quite often. Overall it is not the best read. If you read straight through, It will take an afternoon at most.

This book was very hard to follow. It was written exactly the way the author speaks, which becomes difficult to decipher on paper. I could not finish it. The stories were interesting, but perhaps it would be better as an audio book.

Awesome! Learn about the very down-to-Earth people on television. I devoured this book and thoroughly enjoyed every word. Read it!
