The book was useful for listing out important topics in chemistry, and the sample problems were decent. But past that it was pretty useless. Don't bother reading the explanations of concepts. Sometimes they're too wordy and try to use too many technical terms, sometimes they're littered with inaccuracies. You'll just get confused more. At one point the author talks about the "nucleus of an electron".

Seriously, just use this book to list out important topics, look them up online, then maaaaybe do the sample problems in the book. The quizzes aren't worth your time either. For some of the conceptual questions, there's no way you could possibly know the answer to the question from their explanation of the material.

I guess I shouldn't be too hard on it being vague since it's a review book and is intended for people who at one point knew the material well, but it would be nice if at least there were no scientific inaccuracies in a science review book.
