Maddie and I read some books while she dried off from swimming. I had forgotten this series existed but we enjoyed the three we found in the garage.

The Get Along Gang and the Bad Loser
PLOT: The Get Along Gang are trying to come up with a new password for the clubhouse so they decide to hold a vote. The two runner-ups are Montgomery Moose's (Moosechief) and Zippers (Gangbusters). Moosechief is the winner. While everyone's celebrating Zipper rushes out upset and snatches up the sign he made for the door. The gang decides to give him some space and start the party. But after a while, they decide it's not a party without him and they go out to look for him. He throws the sign up in a tree, where Catchum and Leland spy it and decide it's a cool looking sign and they want it for themselves. Zipper makes up with the gang. He sees Catch and Le going after the sign and races up the tree, (neck and neck) with Leland in order to get it back. They slip off a branch, the sign falls on Croc's foot, and Montgomery grabs it. Croc and Leland take off and the Gang find themselves lost in the woods. It's now evening. But they find the rest of the Gang from the reflection on Woolma's mirror and they all find their way back to the clubhouse.

MY THOUGHTS: All that fuss over a sign that wasn't even all that great. The sign looked like anyone could have made it. All it was (was) a piece of wood with some black letters painted on it. They were about to break their necks over THAT? Croc and Leland could have had it. They all live in a forest. Like it would have been that much harder to find another piece of wood, cut it, and paint letters on it. It wasn't even decorated. It probably took Zipper all of five minutes to make that sign. (Shaking my head).

RATING 5 I know the message was probably about being a sore loser, but do want to know what the REAL message was. Don't be foolish and risk your life like a idiot over something that can be easily replaced.
