This is a short and simple, step-by-step tutorial book on using Photoshop CS (or higher) to make visual effects (many of them involve the cloud filter). It assumes basic terminological and navigational knowledge of Photoshop, so if you've never touched the program, you might get confused. You will need to own Photoshop CS or higher to get the most from this book.

There is at least one tutorial that refers to a setting in a "previous example" that never appeared in the book. I got around it by downloading the setting from the CD-ROM that comes with the book. The CD shows you all the files from the book's examples.

I like how the book and its sections are short, how there are plenty of pictures along with the text to guide you, and how quickly I got through the examples. I'm already thinking of new things to try based on what I learned.
