Since this is a textbook I read for class, I decided to review it in a different way! I'm assigning different categories and rating on a scale of five in each category. Then, I'll take the average and keep that as the rating.

Easy to understand: 2.5/5
- definitely not the hardest read, but not the easiest either
- not everyone could pick this up and understand what is happening
Introduces new concepts well: 1.5/5
- the whole thing feels dated, almost
- I still do not really understand how Analytics works, but that may just be the course
Used effectively by the professor: 0/5
- We read things and then never talk about them in class
- Literally have not mentioned this once
Necessary to the course: 2/5
- it'll be on the test
- refer to professor portion
Overall Score: 1.5/5

I feel like I'm missing the introduction and diving blindly into this text. Oh well.

This gives a great overview of Adobe's Site Catalyst, but the book is a few years old, so there have been some big changes. Still, the basics are the same. In combination with the help file, this will give you a good basis for using Reports and Analytics. I also recommend The Adobe Sitecatalyst Handbook: An Insider's Guide.
