Absolutely wonderful! A real occult gem hidden beneath the guise of a children's book. Lovely anecdotes and interesting viewpoints. As an occultist of about 5 years, I found a multitude of interesting bits and pieces that I hadn't encountered before, probably due to the personal nature of this book to the author. I'd recommend this to anyone with an interest in the occult. It's easy to read and packed full of interesting and insightful information.

A very entertaining and enlightening read. Brennan's approach to wizadry is at once pragmatic and other-worldly. No Harry Potter hocus pocus here. Brennan gives practical insight into the mindset necessary for a wizard to begin his/her studies. I might even try an exercise or two!
