This informative reference tool is small and fits nicely in my backpack. It has already come in handy in my attempts to identify animal tracks along my hikes. It is not exhaustive of all the animals and birds roaming the Buckeye state, but it gives the novice (like me) a good foundation for more advanced study. This book is also a good read to obtain an overall picture of the animals one might encounter along the trails in Ohio.
