Your Toronto Blue Jays 25th Anniversary Collection: A Year-By-Year History

Rate this book
From Doug Ault to Carlos Delgado—a Jays’ highlight reel. Remember Opening Day, 1977? Snow falling over Exhibition Stadium. Bill Singer on the mound. Doug Ault the power hitter. How about the beginnings of the Jays’ greatest outfield—Barfield, Moseby, and Bell? Cliff Johnson and Jorge Orta sharing the DH role. Mark Lemongello punching himself in the jaw. Dave Stieb’s sharp-breaking slider and fiery disposition. Kelly Gruber hitting for the cycle. Join us in re-living the first 25 years of the Blue Jays—a year-by-year look at the players, the seasons, the managers, the fans, the cellar-dwellers, and the World Series champs. Each season features great photos, a ten-best list, player profiles, and highlights from that year. 1977 to 2001—what a great ride it’s been.

A great resource for new fans discovering the first 25 years of the Toronto Blue Jays' existence in Major League Baseball, or great for old fans to remember the days gone by. Specific stats and highlights, quotes by players, and synopses of highs and lows of each season summarize a complete book effectively.
