The Charmed Fates

Rate this book
“You think you know him better than I do?
Interesting . . . and so boringly human.”

Over a year has passed since Olivia Ann Greyson discovered that she is a Charmer, a Dhampir fated to be part of the violent supernatural world that surrounds our human one. In that time, she has strengthened herself physically, learned of her family’s secret past, and found a deep and abiding love with the strongest man she has ever met, Daywalker Caleb Wolfe. But Olivia’s biggest challenge still lies ahead of her . . .

Dark vampire lord Luther Davin has been obsessed with capturing Olivia so he can use her special gifts for his own reasons. As Caleb and Olivia try to make a new life together with their coven, the Nightwalker’s attempts to capture her only intensify and inadvertently bring an unwelcome visitor from Caleb’s past barging back into his life.

She is Caelestis—Celeste to the modern world—and she claims to be Caleb’s first and rightful mate. Although Olivia has grown confident and secure in her relationship with Caleb, she soon realizes that Celeste sees herself as no less than a goddess among mere mortals and will stop at nothing to get Caleb back—which means Olivia herself must die!

When these two threats collide and fate steps in to pull Olivia away from her new family, will she be ready for her darkest hour and her greatest battle?

Why yes, I did read this in a day. Awesomesauce is in this book!
Olivia and Caleb have faced a number of problems in their time together but in this book a new “problem” shows it’s face. It’s Caleb’s old “mate” Celeste. Celeste enters Caleb and Olivia’s world and turns everything upside down. Olivia being her normal impulsive self, runs off to the Brethren setting into motion the trap that may make her Davin’s weapon forever. Jax and Gemma have their own hurdles to jump and a new baby. This book is a joy ride of action, love and blood. By far the most action packed of all three books Wenrick does not leave the reader disappointed.
This is one of those “I read it in a day” books. I simply could not put it down. I had to know what was happening next. Christine Wenrick hooked me with the first two books of this series and she sold me on anything else she ever writes with this third book. It was simply covered with epicness. There were twists and turns that surprised me. Some of the twists were predictable, but Christine threw those at the reader to distract them from seeing the bigger reveals. It worked. And by predictable twists I mean Celeste. We know she is an evil hoochie from the second she enters the page. It’s no surprise that she is spending the whole book playing games with Caleb and Olivia. What is surprising is her attachment to Caleb. It’s simply evil and kind of gross. At several points in the book I wanted to slap my kindle she was that aggravating.
The cast of characters in this series is definitely the highlight of the work. Christine infuses a lot of humor into them. Olivia is still sassy as ever and I was constantly chuckling at her sarcasm throughout the book. I think my favorite scene was when she encounters Kane again at the Oracle. She has such an easy, fun chemistry with her guardians that I love.
“unbelievable,” I blinked back at him. “I didn’t think me like you really existed.” Kane splayed his arms out from his sides with an easy smile. “In the flesh, darlin’…in the flesh.”
The sexy times in this book are as hot as ever, but there are fewer of them than in the previous works and I was totally ok with that. It felt natural when it happened and not like the author was forcing her characters to “get it on” as much as possible to sell books. Which, let’s be honest, there are a lot of books out there where the whole entire plot is sex. I need a bit more to a book to find it good. Obviously from my 5 star rating this book more than a “bit more” to it.
The action was great. This book is bloody. I loved it. How can you have a vampire book without blood, and death? The answer is you can’t. This is not a horror novel so you won’t find the remorseless blood suckers taking center stage but there are a few in here. Olivia really finds her strength in this book. Even when she is being tortured she manages to kick butt. She also manages to keep hold on to her humanity through a tough situation. She would not have been able to do that without the love of her friends and family. Which was a great highlight for me. Jax, Gemma, Caleb and her guardians have really become her family.
Which brings me to the ending of the book and an awesome little surprise is there waiting for the reader. Overall, the HEA was very satisfying. Oh, and check out the sneak peek at Christine’s next book. Eeep. Can’t wait! What a great ride this series has been. I can’t believe that it’s only been a few short months ago that I got to know these characters. They feel like they have been with me a lot longer than that.

(Source: I received a digital copy of this book for free on a read-to-review basis. Thanks to author Christine Wenrick.)
This is the third book in the ‘Charmed’ Trilogy, and kicks off 9 months after the end of book 2 ‘The Charmed Souls’ **Warning – some unavoidable spoilers for books 1 & 2**
Olivia has had nine months to learn some self-defence techniques, and to get used to mated life. The threat of Davin still hangs over them though, and Caleb is determined to end Davin, so that Olivia can begin to live her life freely.

Olivia isn’t happy about Caleb’s schemes of finding and killing Davin, but she has her hands full just keeping them to herself when Celeste, the vampire who turned Caleb, turns up and keeps trying to seduce him.
Will Olivia ever be free from Davin? Will Caleb ever be free of Celeste? And is there a happily ever after in store for Olivia and Caleb?

I enjoyed this book, and it was a great end to the trilogy.

Olivia has grown in the time between books 2 and 3, she’s learned more about herself as a dhampir and has improved her skills in defending herself. She loves Caleb though, and trying to deal with Celeste and her hold over him is a little too much for Olivia. Being forced to spend time away from Caleb is also difficult for her, especially after what happens to Gemma! (not telling what that is though!)

Caleb once again shows how determined he is to both care for and protect Olivia, even when Olivia doesn’t exactly agree with his methods. Caleb really is a bit of a catch, and the ‘love’ scenes between Caleb and Olivia were toe-tinglingly sexy.

I liked the storyline in this instalment, and there was plenty of it! Caleb’s relationship with his sire Celeste is covered, as well as Olivia’s powers as a charmer, and Davin’s unending pursuit of her. Things are also happening to the other characters as well, with big changes in store for Gemma, Jax, Maya etc.

Overall; a great end to the series, and a very sexy read.
8 out of 10.

Ok. So can I say something real quick? AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! Alright, I feel better. Lol. I had been waiting for this book for months now and I am so glad I wasn’t disappointed with what I read.

This third book in The Charmed Trilogy is back with our favorite characters Olivia and Caleb. Their love for each other is still going strong and quite frankly, makes me a little jealous. I wish my husband showed me that much attention! Lol. I’m getting off track. Everything is going well except for the bain of their existence…Luther Davin; the vampire that wants Olivia for her Charmer abilities and use them for his evil doing. Caleb can’t live peacefully until Davin is killed. Olivia of course wants Caleb out of harm’s way but after a series of dramatic events, Olivia finds herself in some hot water.

I know that was a short little run down of the book but I honestly do not want to give anything away. Of the three books, this is hands down the best in the trilogy. Everything came to a head and had me reading at the speed of light to find out what happens next. And Christine decides to throw in some curve balls that made me say out loud and scare my cat off my lap when I yelled WHAT?!?! I love when authors can do that and you don’t even know it was coming. That takes some good writing skills.

I’d say if you haven’t heard of this series, you need to get acquainted ASAP. And I will say that at first I was a touch skeptical because it’s written in first person (through Olivia) but Christine is an excellent writer and was written wonderfully. I like happy surprises. And another surprise I am looking forward to, she is continuing with some of the same characters in a different series!!!!!! I can’t wait to dive into the first book soon.

Ok so one thing is evidently clear with this trilogy, it is one heck of an emotional roller coaster.

For a debut series, from a debut author, this is one that certainly exceeded my expectations. For me when starting a new series, with no disrespect to the authors’, normally I find it can take 2-3 books for me to decide if this is a series I like or dislike. I find that a series can progressively get better as you move through the books, so much so that, when you look back over the books combined you realize that taken as a whole, the series is better than you first gave credit for than if you were to take it just on the basis of the first book.

However, in the case of Christine Wenrick’s The Charmed series, this is one series I knew from the end of book one that I personally was going to love and I could see a very confident and able writer emerging. Ms. Wenrick hit the ground running so to speak. Her world building has been very well done and very believable, there are no shiny sparkly vampires in this series. They are shown for the killer that they have the potential to be, but also that they do have the capability to choose how to live their lives. I liked how there was enough of a back story to fill in the details that you needed and to pique your interest but, not so much that you began to loose the momentum of the story.

You may have guessed already that I adored this series and anything in the future my Christine Wenrick will be on my auto-buy list.

Ok, so again I read this book in a little over a day and nothing else mattered until I finished this book. I could not finish it fast enough but at the same time, I didn’t want it to end. I was enjoying it so much and when coming to the end of a series, there is always that conflicting feeling of ‘get to the end see what happens,’ and then the not wanting it to end and, being sad when you do. This is absolutely 100% how I felt about this series. I am so grateful to Christine for providing the copies of the series for me to review and a huge thank you to her for sharing this wonderful series with us.

As my previous review for book 2, there is no way that I can write this review without spoilers so if you haven’t read at least book 1 please stop here!

Caleb and Olivia were reunited during the second book and she was released by The Brethren to live her life away from the compound so long as she stays safe. Book 3 picks up nine months after the end of Book 2 so Olivia has been with Caleb for sometime and their lives have settled down somewhat. Due to her Charmer gifts, she is still being threatened from time to time by rouge Vampires who are drawn to her gifts.

But all of this will seem inconsequential when Caleb’s first Mate arrives and throws a spanner into the works so to speak. Celeste believes that Olivia has no claim to Caleb and she is his rightful heir. To wheedle her way into the Coven, Celeste says she has vital information about the movements of Luther, the evil vampire who is seeking Olivia and the chance to try and finish this once and for all for Caleb is too strong, he leaves Olivia in the capable hands of Jax and Gemma and goes hunting for Luther.

Now from the previous books, we have seen that Olivia and Caleb are better together than apart and bad things happen when they are apart, what happens this time when they are separated completely threw me, it was a twist in the story that I did not see coming at all. What happens sets off a chain of events that will leave you breathless and on the edge of your seat and unable to put the book down.

There are betrayals, deaths and lots of twists and turns along the way. I must stop here before I give away any more of the plot. Needless to say this is a book that I would highly recommend and one that I think I will re-read again in the future.
When I got to the end I felt so bereft at having finished such a wonderful series and I really wanted more! To my absolute delight I found at the end of the book a chapter for her new series beginning in the Fall!! I think I frightened all the passengers on the train with my squeal of delight, but I didn’t really mind, seeing as I was very excited I felt it was warranted.

As much as I try to avoid books told in first person, I couldn't help but fall in love with the paranormal world that author Christine Wenrick created with her first book, The Charmed. Her second book, The Charmed Souls kicked up the danger and now with the third and final book in her trilogy, The Charmed Fates brings about the battle for possession of Olivia Grayson, with the enemy wanting her powerful gift and her supernatural family wanting her safe and loved. This book is, in my opinion, a little darker than its predecessors but that was just fine with me. Paranormal romances shouldn't be easy, sweet and clean.

This time around, Olivia has more than just a power hungry vampire after her, she also has to contend with her beloved mate Caleb's ex, Celeste. Celeste is no ordinary, petty, jealous ex-girlfriend though, she's a 600 year old vampire who claims to be Caleb's true mate and she'll stop at nothing to get him back. As much as I despised Celeste, I have to give Christine Wenrick credit. She made Celeste more than just a blonde supernatural bimbo out for blood, she made Celeste sneaky, diabolical and so arrogant that at times it seemed like she would succeed in getting between Caleb and Olivia.

The Charmed Fates proved that Christine Wenrick isn't above getting her characters dirty, bloody and in a few cases, dead. Caleb and Olivia's love is stretched to its limits in this book but what was admirable about Olivia was that while she suffered from the occasional bout of suspicion and doubt, when it came to Caleb's feelings towards Celeste, she wasn't whiny or clingy, she had her pride, she was logical and she was tough. Caleb was patient with her, as he always is, though it was great to see him at times worried that he might lose Olivia's love and trust (after all no one likes an over confident hero). Even with all the emotional upheaval that came with Celeste's appearance, the passion between Caleb and Olivia was still present, the love and devotion that the two had for each other was still powerful but not sickeningly sweet. I loved the way they met (Olivia was 16, Caleb was 29 and still human) and how they reunited years later and fell in love.

Playing second fiddle but still managing to make big impressions are Jax and Gemma. The ever stoic Jax is now happily mated to the upbeat but feisty Gemma but their happiness is short lived. The only times I wished that The Charmed Fates, heck the whole trilogy hadn't been written in first person was when these two were involved. I would have loved to have gotten into their heads. Caleb's too.

The third and final book in Christine Wenrick's Charmed trilogy left me with a smile on my face and a special place in my heart for the characters that loved and lost throughout the series. At times, The Charmed Fates was predictable but there were a few scenes that left me with my jaw hanging open. Olivia and Caleb may have started out as the main characters in the first book (The Charmed) but in The Charmed Fates there's plenty of Jax, Gemma and later, Alec to go around. I was sad to see the end of this story as I've become very attached to the above characters as well as a few others. The ending was bittersweet but fitting. So as much as I hate to let go of such a fun cast of characters, eager to read the first book in a new series, The Men of Brahm Hill, featuring the very sexy and mysterious Kane. I can't wait to get a copy of the final version of The Charmed Fates for my Kindle.

The Charmed Fates is the third book in The Charmed Trilogy. The books are a consecutive read and need to be consumed in order. It’s tough to give a fair review this final installment without spoilers, but here goes. Overall, I liked the series, and I liked this book. It was very well developed for a debut author, and I think worth the time investment.

The story begins slowly while Wenrick gives us a little time to enjoy the hard won domestic bliss from the first two books. Then there is a lot, perhaps too much in my opinion, of everyone trying to protect everyone else. It was obvious to me that they needed to work together, and I admit to some impatience, but this is how characters grow. They do get there eventually. The action and tension of the story are strengths of Wenrick’s writing, which builds to a satisfactory conclusion.

The only two real criticisms I have in an otherwise terrific tale are regarding the disposition of two particular characters. Caelestis or Celeste, is Caleb’s ex-mate. She had the potential to be the source of much more humor or much more evil. I felt she was under-utilized. The second character was Luther Davin. His connection with Olivia has run through all three books. In The Charmed Fates his truly evil nature comes to full light, and when we arrived at the ultimate conflict, it seemed slightly anti-climatic. I expected it to be more drawn out.

There is less sex this go-around, but it’s still hot and timely. It feels natural to the flow of the story, not like the characters are being forced “get it on” because they haven’t in so many pages. Olivia’s music does still play a role in her relationships and personal growth as well.

Lycans were peripheral to the overall story arc, and I felt they should have been a stronger presence in the climactic scenes. However, the excerpt from the first book in Wenrick’s next series, The Men of Brahm Hill, which builds on the foundation of The Charmed Trilogy, suggests we’ll get to know them better. The Charmed Fates ends Olivia and Caleb’s story, but I have no doubt they’ll appear in future stories as Wenrick explores the world and characters she has created. There is a significant depth there to be mined.

The Charmed Fates is the third and final book in The Charmed Trilogy by Christine Wenrick. Some time has passed since that fateful night when Caleb Wolfe, Daywalker saved Olivia Greyson’s life. In that time, Olivia has found out that she is a Charmer, trained and honed her skills, and has come to realize that her destiny is with her mate – Caleb. Just when you think life is about to settle in and get perfect – along comes a curve from the past! Celeste – a vampire claiming to be Caleb’s first and only mate is back and she wants what she believes is rightfully hers. Will Caleb return to his past and the vampire that changed him, or will he stay his ground with his destiny Olivia? Olivia does what she believes is right and leaves Caleb – leaving him alone with her rival and nemesis. The Charmed Fates are about to step in and the outcome may not be exactly what Olivia thought it was going to be.

The final book in this series was heartbreaking yet again. It seems every time Olivia thinks her life is settling and she is about to be happy the fates step in and throw her a curve ball. The story begins with Olivia with her new family / coven and she is happy. She believes she may finally have the life that she wants. She has found her blood grandfather, her blood mate – making her truly feel like a family for the first time ever. The Nightwalker, Luther Davin, is still obsessed and hunting her. But she feels that she is strong and able to fight for herself and her coven. But out of the blue, Caleb’s first blooded mate comes back and wants him – wants him back with a vengeance. I disliked Celeste from the moment she stepped on the page. And I wanted nothing more than for someone, anyone to do away with her. Olivia as well as myself, felt betrayed by Caleb’s reaction to Celeste. I did however love what transpired between Jax and Gemma at the beginning of the book and prayed for a resolution for them in the end. Olivia choosing to leave Caleb again was completely understandable and distancing herself seemed exactly the right thing to do. Oh the things we do for love! In the end, Caleb and Olivia will forever be one of my favorite couples – although they took the long road getting there! If you are looking for a wonderful read with lots of full-filling characters – this one is for you!

Wow, oh wow!! This book didn’t disappoint me one iota.

I opened to the first page to be induced and transported back into the world of Caleb, Olivia, Jax and Gemma. I started to read and couldn’t put the book down. I wasn’t surprised as I had had the same experience with the first two books, the storyline wrapped around me and enfolded me thoroughly taking me on the journey.

Not only was I taken on Caleb’s and Olivia’s journey I found myself being taken in by the tremendous events that surrounded Jax and Gemma’s lives. I found myself willing the best for all of them, wishing to be able to surround them with love and wishing them well.

I experienced a feeling of pure hatred for Celeste and found myself wishing I could help to end her. I was shocked at certain events as I didn’t see them coming and I would like to say that, that added to the unfolding story. I was pleased when a certain dark character got his just deserts. I eagerly cheered on all that was good and was pleased that many of the characters made a re-appearance within the pages of this book.

The plot to the story is very strong; I was taken on a rollercoaster ride. I was laughing and then crying. Yet again, I find myself unashamed to admit that I cried, yet this time I cried for Gemma! This is a tale of undying love and wishes, there are sides to Caleb, that you discover and left me surprised, but his gentle nature is still there. The ending of the story is neatly wrapped up and well written. I was satisfied with the ending and felt it completely tied up all loose ends.

I loved the final instalment to this series, and I look forward to reading more of Christine Wenrick’s work. Well done Christine Wenrick, a brilliant ending to a powerful series. I eagerly await your next book.

Mated and happy, Olivia and Caleb are trying to get on with their lives, even though the evil vampire, Davin is still out to kidnap her. Olivia is the Charmer, a dhampir who can cause pain and so much more to vampires with just a touch. Davin wants Olivia for his own sick war that he wants to start with the Lycans, and he will do whatever it takes to make her his. With her Charmer gift she pulls all vampires and dhampirs to her. They all feel the overwhelming pull toward her and it even overrides their need to feed. Caleb, a human turned vampire, who is now mated to Olivia will also do anything to keep Olivia safe. When Celeste, a six hundred year old vampire, who believes she is Caleb's true and only mate, comes back into his life she turns everything upside down. Telling Caleb and his coven that she wants to destroy Davin just as much as they do, she convinces them to all work together.
Not everyone is honest in the agreement they all made and that puts Olivia in even more danger. With enemies too close, Olivia makes her move but does it turn out to be the smartest move??

My Personal Thoughts: Ever have a book turn you inside out?? LOL well, I've had a few and this one was one of them. Sitting there so engrossed in your book that life is just passing you by and then BAM...the bottom falls out in the book or you read something that makes your stomach drop, yep it happens in this exciting third installment of The Charmed Series. I laughed, I cried, I cringed when my stomach dropped, and I also could not put this book down. Christine's writing just got better and better with each chapter and I loved this book. It's my favorite out of the three. We also get a taste of her spin-off series, The Men of Brahm Hill, and oh lordy, it starts with that yummy, sexy as hell shifter, Kane. I am looking forward to that series!

Deb’s Review:

Charmed Fate by Christine Wenrick, is the third book in the charmed series, one that will shock you, please you as well as show you the true heart of all their stories.

Caleb this time around just frustrated me so much, I just wanted to scream, “Get a Clue Man!” LOL I mean really, after going through the hell he did. To discover his mate missing, he reaches out to the one he hates. Will he be strong enough to dodge his ex’s advances? Can he locate Olivia in time?

Olivia just drove me nuts with all her insecurities, but I enjoyed her non the less. She is diffidently a power house heroine who draws in your attention. I enjoyed seeing her go balls to the wall in a few scenes; it showed me there is much more to her character. Can Olivia build a foundationthat she can live with once her powers are fully charged? Will what she has in her heart be enough to save them all?

There were so many supporting characters, which were huge hits for me. They helped build a strong story structure, and added to the true heart of the plotline and to Caleb and Olivia roles, even the psychotic vampire, an obsessed ex, and a crazed person who wanted to control it all, aided in the brilliance Christine Wenrick created. Now comes the part where I need to ask if there will be more, or a spin-off to this trilogy because really those Brethren men really do need a good woman. LOL!
Poor sweet Maya needs an HEA ending. (Tissue moment)

The only complaint I have Ms.Wenrick is not being able to witness Olivia’s secret to Caleb that was just mean. *grins*

In closing Brava! To Christine Wenrick for giving me as well as you (I Hope) the delightful chance to discover a new author with the amazing talents to write such a stellar trilogy that I will be revisiting again and again.

Olivia has learned who she is and has worked hard to learn the skills needed to survive in the supernatural world. Luther Davin is still obsessed with capturing her and using her special powers for his own sinister plan. Caleb and Olivia just want to be together with their coven, but of course it cannot be easy. A person, Caelestis or Celeste, has come back into Caleb’s life and claims to be his first and true mate. Celeste is willing to do whatever necessary to get him back.

I am not even sure where to start with my review. I very patiently waited to get my hands on this book and am so very happy that Christine Wenrick shared it with me. Olivia, Caleb, Jax, Gemma, Alex, and all the other characters are back and their stories are being told perfectly. The love between Olivia and Caleb and between Jax and Gemma is as strong as it was in the other two books in this series. The heat of sex with Olivia and Caleb still makes me blush. I love that the piano and Olivia’s music is not lost in this book since it was an important part of their relationship in the other books. One of my favorite lines by Olivia is…”let me finish, without going all Alex on me.” A giggle escaped as I heard Olivia say this to Alec and as I pictured Alec’s face.

The Charmed Fates is the absolute perfect ending to the story of Olivia. I blushed, I laughed, I cringed, and I loved it. Every single page and word kept me totally enraptured with the story. I stayed up very late having to finish this series and I was not disappointed at the ending.

I will not patiently await Christine’s new series The Men of Brahm Hill. Knowing that I will have to re-read this series many times between now and then. I cannot get enough of the supernatural world she has written about.

The Charmed Fates is a great continuation and closing for The Charmed Trilogy! Just as action packed, exciting and unpredictable as the others with even more twists and turns and even HOTTER sex scenes. A definite must read for any fans of the genre.

Olivia and Caleb only want to live in peace. Basking in the glory of their soul deep love and mate the night away (he he). It’s virtually impossible with the vicious Devin and his goons still trying to get Olivia. Every single day is a danger until he is imprisoned or he exists no more. To top it off, there are now others that either want Olivia as their own or dead. Now many decisions must be made and none of them are easy. But we know how it goes with love… It’s so very blind and at times the wrong decisions are made. Even if they are not meant to hurt, but rather to keep your loved one safe. Now the question is, can those wrong decisions ever be made right again?

The last of the trilogy still held strong and was as satisfying as the others. It also had an amazing HEA ending that will make all readers smile (I know I did!) I just wish there was more character growth in Olivia. She seemed to have regressed some while Caleb grows beyond expectations (love that male!) All-in-all, an excellent series that is so well written each book COULD be read as a stand-alone. But I honestly DO NOT suggest doing so. There is so much that’ll be missed if you don’t start from book 1 ;)

Wow, what a conclusion! I loved this last book of the Charmed triology as much as I did the first two. Even a little bit more! This ending could not have been better than it was and it really tied all the knots together. Olivia and Calebs relationship has never been a "walk in the park" but their love for eachother really gets tested this time. Caleb is swoon worthy as usual with all his badboy/goodboy charm. His protectiveness might go a little bit overboard in Olivias eyes but thats totally ok since he kind of has a point!
Sometimes I think Olivia can feel a bit naive like when she runs of to places she should not. But at least she really thinks that´s what she needs to do.

This book had me crying my eyes out and laughing until my stomach hurt and I loved it. Like one big rollercoster! I was totally crying when things got tough for Jax and Gemma! And when Olivia goes to the Brethren it had me lauging a bit. But most of all I was laughing my a** of when the whole post-it/big note on the fridge thing that Olivia did. Mayby I have dry humor but I thought it was hillarious!

We got some more action and blood and that was great. The people I wanted to go away really got what they deserved and it was so hard to not get emotional when Olivia had a hard time. I can´t really say much more about that without spoilers so I will leave it at that.

Over all this was the perfect wrap up for this triology and I did not miss a thing!

Arc Review:

The Charmed Fates, the final book in The Charmed Trilogy, is a fantastic wrap up for the trilogy. There was a little less action in this one, but the scheming from Caleste made up for the loss, lol. I really don't want to give away any of the book with spoilers, so I'll just say that the story is actually like a musical composition. The story flows and gradually increases in it's pace and in the end, everthing ties together for a wonderful finale.
On another note, Christine gives us a little taste of her next series, and it sounds awesome!! I am definitely looking forward to it!!

The third and final book of this wonderful series finds Olivia and Caleb enjoying their life together. But just when they think they finally have the chance to settle down, a blast from the past comes blowing in to shake things up between the two love birds. Add to that the vampires who still wish to possess Olivia, and the bounds of their relationship are intensely tested. With some great plot twists, even steamier sex, and FINALLY a happily ever after that will leave you satisfied beyond belief, this amazingly written and creative trilogy is a fantastic addition to the paranormal romance genre.

Third and final book in the "Charmed" trilogy, Olivia is happily settled in her coven, mated with her love Caleb and living with Jax and Gemma. Outside forces crash into her happy world when dark vampire leader Luther Davin is still obessed with harnessing Olivia's charmer gifts and Caleb's Celeste, Caleb's maker and self-claimed first (and only) mate. Caleb is obsessed with keeping Olivia safe and ridding their lives of Luther and will put up with Celeste to make it happen. Darker than the previous two books, but a good continuation and finale of the story.

All three book in the series are a quick and easy read for paranormal romance fans.

I was so excited when I got this third book in The Charmed series. I really couldn't put it down. I was taken into the story watching it as I read. It kept me wanting more. The love and protectiveness between Olivia and Caleb is priceless. Loved all the twists and turns this series has to offer. I recommend this series to all that love a good paranormal romance with a twist.

Parts of this were very good, with lots of action or suspense. However, in between were times when the book dragged a bit and Olivia's inner thoughts and self-doubts dampened my enthusiasm. At times, Olivia got on my nerves. Overall, I would recommend this series.
