I have so many complaints about this book, which will be detailed on Library Gremlin later, but my biggest issue is that this book is so general as to be completely useless. The author would have done better to write a whole book based on the question and answer format that follows each chapter. By tacking them on at the end, it just repeats everything said in the past few pages without anything new or interesting to add. I hope the author is a better speaker--I will be hearing her at a program next week.

2.5 stars. Decent book. Quick read. I like the way the chapters are laid out. The age range of "pre-schooler", at least in this book, is pretty broad, so it's a bit light. I'm also reading a book about three year olds and it's nice to have more depth, which I think this book was lacking. It was a nice overview type book though.

It is apropos that, when I got this book from the library, it had pen scribbles all over the cover.
