I thought I'd read Mia Freedman as she has been chastised in the press lately for fat shaming, etc.
I never bothered before because her interests aren't mine. And they're still not mine so I only read a few of the essays in this book.
Still, it gave me some insight into the inanities and shadenfreude of feminine magazines.

I've finished about 6 or 7 articles - it's like reading bad articles from Cosmopolitan.

The first of Mia’s books .... very enjoyable

I actually didn't mind this book though now I can't stand her.
