Astrology for Beginners

Rate this book
What is astrology? Does it work, and if so how does it work? After the scientific Enlightenment some centuries ago, astrology should have died out. Yet despite howls of incredulity from its critics, this most sophisticated language of the imagination seems here to stay. Geoffrey Cornelius and Maggie Hyde, founding members of England's highly regarded 'Company of Astrologers', provide the reader with a rich and graphic history of astrology from its pre-Greek roots through Renaissance Europe and its revival in the past century, to the most up-to-date research and theories. In addition to the theoretical, this graphic 'study guide' encompasses a hands-on primer of principles and methods of modern astrology. How to read a horoscope, and what to expect from a visit to an astrologer - it's all here.
