Really good read. It's a mix between erotic and street, which is new for me because I am not really into erotic books but this one was good. I liked how finally the wifey was loyal and it had a good ending! I would love a woman like Lyric, she handled her business and had goals in her life.

Kush and Cologne is the first book of two, a contemporary hood romance; gangs, drugs, sex and pay back.

It’s a game of high stakes. Kush wants a Queenly lifestyle for his lady love Lyric but that will take money, lots of money so he persuades her to mule drugs across the border for him, for them. The money begins to roll in but it’s a dangerous world where suspicion is second nature, loyalties are severely tested and death a constant companion.

A touch raw and gritty and a lot romanticised.

I think I liked it.

First time reading from this author. David Weaver has out done himself. Every book that I've read from TBRS has been a five star read and this book wasn't any different. The relationship between Kush and Lyric was enjoyable to read about. This wasn't your typical urban book well at least to me it wasn't. They didn't get into that much detail on the drug game it was more focused on the relationship of Kush and Lyric and those in between. Overall a good read.

From the tile of this book I was a bit confused as to what it could mean but after reading it I was like wow. I liked the story and how it took place. I felt sorry for Lyric I thought that she would have ended up being the typical drug dealer girl but surprise surprise. So-call friends always do you dirty but in the end love prevails. This is a must read.

This was a good read but it was kind of predictable for me. I enjoyed reading about Lyric and Kush's relationship and I was glad to see that it was a actually a good one. This book definitely proves that the ppl that you think are your friends are the same ones that you will kick your back in. Good read but I just wanted a wow factor and I never quite got one. 3.5*

This is the first book that I've read from this author and I'm truly impressed with the story line. It didn't focus on the drug game too much but the relationship of Kush and Lyric. truly a great five star read!!!

That April chick was something else I wanted to beat the break off her, with friend like who need enemies smdfh...that was a weird circumstance for Kush to found out who his daddy is but hey at least he found out who the snake was and she got what she deserve.

This was a pretty good read! I just wanted it to be longer. This is my first book read by this author and will not be my last. I do recommend.
