4.5 stars. I love how Sargent demonstrates the use of moodboards throughout the book. I also love the use of a particular beloved object as a starting point for choosing a color palette.
Most of the examples are too visually busy for my style (though absolutely lovely to look at), but that doesn't matter: the strategies Sargent discusses can be implemented by anyone, regardless of their personal preferences. (Admittedly many of the examples featured people who were in positions to do extensive house renovations and purchase custom furniture to get the pictured designs, but I still think the strategies can be scaled to any project size.)
I got a lot of practical ideas from reading this book and actively want to dive into Pinterest to create my own moodboards.
