Her and Kasey was a problem and I was relieved when she figured that much out. I was pulling for her and Dominic to be together but of course she had to let it be seeing that he wasn't ready. I thought she was moving way too fast with Zo but he seemed to be the perfect match for her. It seemed like she couldn't catch a break for nothing. I loved how all the ladies put school first even though they seemed like they would all be knocked up after the first couple chapters. One thing that bothered me was the errors in the story. I usually overlook them but when an editor is named it makes me look at the errors even more. I hope the author didn't pay too much for an editor because if so she should get her money back. I understand word count but the context and characters didn't match the words by a long shot. It becomes distracting to the story and takes away from what's going on. It would've been better if the author just left the natural language instead of the "I will, I am, You are" when in reality it would've been more like, "I'm, I'll, and You're".
In all this was a good book with just enough drama and crazy to keep you reading. Can't wait for part 3.
Killing me softly was a good book for a first time author. I was pretty engaged in the story until all of the guys started going fatal attraction psycho over Skye. I couldn't understand why every male she came in contact with went crazy over her. I also think that her age and lack of maturity made her make stupid decisions. She kept jumping from relationship to relationship and engaging in sex w different ppl way too quick, without being able to handle the consequences. By the end I was exhausted with the love triangle. As the story progresses, I hope to see character development and maturity. There were a few editing issues in the book but overall an interesting and cautionary read especially for teens. 3.5
