MARKET : For all readers interested in introductory programming using the Java™ programming language.
Garbage book. Too many errors and typos. Unclear explanations. Strictly not a beginner friendly. Always doubt pearson books for lots of mistakes, errors and typos.
Not a good intro text. It doesn't describe basic data structures like ArrayLists. Some of the code has errors and doesn't compile. Some of the example programs need 10 or more supporting programs, but we are expected to know which to include. There are also a lot of typos.
I'm unhappy with the VitalSource e-book reader app. It's slow and crashes almost every day. The highlighting function doesn't work for parts in math notation, which are often the most important parts. The "Video Notes" don't play either.
Content was probably like a 4/5 helpfulness, -1/5 tone. I can't remember. All I know is every time I think of this, I am reminded of the worst semester of my life. So 4/5 + -1/5 + -39523904/5 personal experience is like a one star. #GirlMath #ImNeverWrong
