Mitch Ericson is a lion shifter and one of the most feared Council Enforcers there is. He is content to spend his days alone lounging and napping in the sun until his mate literally breaks into his house. Realizing Tessa is on the run from a rogue shifter, Mitch calls in a few friends to help keep his mate safe. Unfortunately, their search for the rogue chasing Tessa reveals an even deeper plot. Not only does Mitch have to figure out how to keep his mate safe, but he also has to figure out who is behind the plot to reveal their secret to the world. ** A Siren Erotic Romance

I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee and have a degree in mortuary science. I am a single mother of a very active young son and was blessed to be able to take off work and become a stay at home mom when he was born. When I am not driving him to soccer, karate or one of the many activities that he participates in, you can find me curled up reading a romance novel, watching a movie, or writing. I have been writing short stories since I was in elementary school, but only recently decided to try and have one of my full length novels published. Submitting one of my stories to be published is a goal that I thought I would never have to guts to achieve, but now that I have, I hope there are many more to come.

I loved this book! I really liked the authors style of writing, I loved the main characters and their interaction with each other and the humor, I love a story with plenty of humor! I came upon this author as I was browsing and I'm so glad I did! I'm looking forward to reading Benjamin's story next!!!

My expectations for this book were a little bit to high after seeing the ratings I guess.

The almost constantly screaming Tessa was kinda annoying, the shapeshifters were nice (am very interested in reading Ryan's and Ken's story!) and Tessa's son was just cute.

All in all it was an "ok" read and I might read the other books as well.

I didn't love this book.  The female protagonist is a wimp.  Granted she has a valid reason to be frightened.  But it doesn't mean that she always has to be screaming.  It gets rather annoying.
