Taos Pueblo: A Walk-Through Time

This is a packed pamphlet. This is not only a map of time but also a map of the pueblo. There are a few black and white photographs and the book is divided into two parts one for the tour and the other for the history.
Items covered in the walkthrough include:
The Mountains
The north side pueblo
Outside ovens and drying racks
The Kivas
The pueblo wall
The river or Pueblo Creek
The south side pueblo
The mission of St. Jerome
The ruined church and cemetery

As you can see this is useful even if you never visit but is indispensable for visitors.

As I entered the Pueblo and saw where the cemetary was and the partial church that had been destroyed. I could feel as though I had been there all those years ago. This book is great I only wish I read it before I went to the Pueblo. I thought the little huts were dog houses. No, they were ovens. Or horno's. The church was stunning and almost made me feel like I had finally found religion. This book is older not long but still good. Lots of information packed inside and a little map of the whole pueblo.
