Textbook of Men's Mental Health

Rate this book
This book reflects progress in a too-little explored corner of psychiatry to show that gender plays an integral role in mental health issues for men. The book provides clinicians with the information they need for understanding how certain disorders manifest differently in men-and for recognizing how treatment responses in men differ.

I got it via interlibrary loan and it was daunting to have to read it in 2 weeks. I skimmed it in less than an hour. Not helpful. A bit of interesting stuff on anti-social disorder, and how little can be done to treat it and some of the root causes, but generally it is not at all what I hoped it would be. The search continues!
