It's great book however I'm not really like this book because Itsn't my reading style. I just like disaster book, romantic book, business book. however this book is easy for reading. I recommend this book for someone like dinosaur
例如,小男孩Eric的父親是個個性沉悶、呆板,不善經營婚姻關係,又缺乏事業心的人,書裡描寫他的句子是:“He drove there slowly and he drove home slowly.”(there是指他經營的成衣舖子)。 Inside, flowers and small trees came through the floor and walls. 還有:“They ran between the big trees again. The Rex got through them.”(Rex是雷克斯龍)“get through”的用法很豐富,這裡應該是「超過」的意思。用在成績上,有「通過」、「過關」的意思;穿過隧道可以用get through;「逃過一劫」也可以用get through;我還在網路上看到一個例句:“You used to read your textbooks thousands of times. Now you're lucky to get through them once. Rrrrhhhhh-gahhhrrrr! GRRR-AHHHRRRRR! Caahhhhrrr! RRRRHHH-AWWWHHHRRR! GRAGHHHHH-RAGHHHHH! RAHHHHGHHHHHHHH!!! Cahhhhhhrrrrrr! Yip! Yip! HISSSSS-YIEEEEE! Snap. Hissssssss.
The large print was easy to read -finished it in a few hours. But I was dissatisfied with the plot. Now I find out years later (2022) that the book was not for adults... I could have sworn I read JP3 by Crichton...
