As with all short story collections, you get some good and some not so good.

However overall this was a solid outing, enjoyed the majority of the stories, which was refreshing.

Some stories were a bit dated, and some author's gender worldview is quite different to today's norm, however for a product of its time this is to be expected.

I had forgotten how sexist some of the writers were, but they were the writers I read growing up. Some good ideas, and I had forgotten how much I enjoyed learning about Pern.

Philip Jose Farmer's "The Suicide Express" is in this. A good collection.
