This book is actually a collection of 3 stories.
1. IN THE SNOW covers 2 young friends wanting to enjoy a snow day sledding, making "bad" puns and laughing until 2 bullies appear and steal their sled (aka sledge).
There's also a brief description/explanation of water's evolution into snow & ice
2. THE BEAR'S TAIL a story of a hungry polar bear and what happens when he listens to advice from a fox.
3. WHY THE BEAR SLEEPS THROUGH THE WINTER A wonderful story that I'd never heard of before that focuses on doing good and being helpful and their results

THERE WAS A CRACKING SOUND WHEN TOBY FELL DOWN.DID THE CLEANER RESCUE TOBY ? I LIKE THIS STORY BECAUSE I LIKE SNOW. THIS SETTING OF THE STORY WAS A WINTER SNOW ENVIORNMENT.
