I read this book all the way through and practiced some of the card moves but, have not yet tried a magic trick. It will take me awhile to get good at card magic. Yesterday I read a Smithsonian article about harry Thurston that said that he practiced card tricks for an hour a day and then right before he performed them. I thought this book had a lot of good information. So many cool moves and tricks with cards. Though I wish the book came with a dvd so I could see performances of the tricks and moves with the cards. I hope to keep practicing with playing cards. Maybe one day I can put on my own magic show.
