I tried to like it...at least I wanted to like it. Unfortunately the plot felt a bit weak to me. I read the first 100 pages and was still reading about character development with the plot only briefly mentioned. The story dragged for me, and as I began to skip over pages I realized I was not missing anything by doing so. I ended up skipping directly to the end, read what happened to each character, shut the book, and had no desire to figure out how they all ended up there. I just ordered Angie's first adventure, and now I am wishing I hadn't (but I will still give it a shot).
