When machine quilting, to secure the end of the threads, pull them to the inside of the quilt and tie them off. Why did I never read this before? What a great answer to this question! It's 2021 and I picked this up and read it again. Now that I have more experience, I was able to appreciate the instructions for basic things like spinning the seams on a pinwheel block. I've also made a couple of attempts to make a snail trail block, so will try again with this set of instructions. This is a thorough set of instructions to take various blocks, sashings and borders and make them into lots of different quilts. I would now rate it a 3 or 4 :)
