Today's Christian & the Church's Bible: A Time to Return to the Authorized Version
Christians today have access to a wide variety of Bible translations suited to any temperament. However, the competing textual theories of various specialists, and the pragmatic concerns of the Bible marketing industry have left many overwhelmed by choice as they seek a reliable version of God's Word. In this informative booklet (formerly titled A New Hearing for the AV ), the late ecclesiastical historian Dr. Theodore P. Letis helps those lost among an overabundance of Bible translations return to the reliability and trustworthiness of Christendom's most celebrated and accepted Bible - the Authorized Version, also known as the King James Version.
His study highlights the superiority of the Authorized Version's underlying text, translation technique, and English usage. He also shows its link with our past and how it is a unifying factor for the present as he cuts a compelling case for its continued use in homes, churches, and schools. For those seeking discernment in such matters, Dr. Letis' teachings are a fresh call directing young pilgrims, as well as seasoned saints, back to the "old paths" of biblical Christianity.

An excellent brief booklet demonstrating the enduring value of the AV

This is by no means exhaustive, but while it is small, it punches above its weight. If you want an introduction to the issue that doesn’t get to far into the weeds, this book manages that well.

More a pamphlet or long essay than a book. Sincere but unconvincing in most points, unless the reader is already convinced and is just looking for confirmation. Perhaps if some of the textually critical arguments, where it was strongest, were expounded at greater length the author would have been more convincing. I found some of the other arguments to be so off the mark or self-defeating as to be wearying.
Intend to re-read and organize my thoughts as I research the subject further. Certainly there are far more informed scholars than me on both sides of this issue. Intend to re-review then.

Still today, Dr. Letis' scholarship continues its work through this small book. A sound and ecouraging defense of the Authorized Version.

Very short. A little dated, but provides some really solid arguments for using the Authorized Version.

I found this in audio form on YouTube.
It was more convincing than I expected; gave me some things to think about.
