The influences Benjamin Franklin has had on the history of America are innumerable. As an inventor, statesman, philosopher and writer, his life embodied the best ideals of the colonial values of industry and prudence. He served his new country proudly at a time when he was truly needed, and his influence on the history of America continues today.
I appreciate that the author mostly just stuck to the facts, as it seems that many children's biographies often push an agenda. The book contains quite a number of historical photos that enhance the read and help increase your knowledge of Franklin's life and the times he lived in.
