I felt this book could have done with better editing, and at least a more comprehensive framework for its vast content. The amount of info-dumping was overwhelming at times. I did pick up numerous things I had never heard of before. Especially the amount of detail on "which butterfly uses this plant" as well as cultivation of edibles make this book very useful as a reference - I might try and source a second hand copy for that purpose. Not so keen on the author's flippant attitude towards peat usage in the garden and bemused by the (numerous) suggestions of harvesting one's own urine 🫥
Obviously, this Bible revealed the path towards healthy gardening. But, realistically, "Organic Gardening For The 21st Century" needs to be used as its companion as, neither is sufficient without the other. And, neither will suffice until you get ten of your tender little fingers, knee-deep in soil.
P.S. I only wish my name could consist of Flowers, and dew.
