Couldn't finish. Stats, stats, and more stats. It's wildly out of date. Sure, it was reprinted as recently as 2006 but it's still the first edition that was published in 1990. Cable news is much bigger than it was 21 years ago. CNN was 10 at the time of this book, but Fox News Channel and MSNBC were both launched in 1996. How have they changed the bias?

Students: find yourselves a more up to date book for your papers. This book is worthless.

Some important information wrapped in a dull academic package. Not an easy or enjoyable read. Better books out there that deal with the same topic in a more readable manner.
