It’s been a long shift for Detective Vincent Pasquale. Back at his desk at the station he finds a phone message from his vampire spouse, Mark, waiting for “Listen our friend Dexter found something about who may have tried to frame Jean-Claude. Turns out that there is a lot more to this thing! It’s big. Jean-Claude and Jaime are meeting me here before we all head over to see Tortego at his offices. We should be there in a half hour. If you can join us fine but if not I’ll tell you about it later after your shift is over. Call me.” A few moments later a report comes into the station about a possible terrorist bomb explosion at a Midtown office building. No survivors are reported. To his horror Vinnie realizes the bombsite’s address is the exact location of Tortego’s offices. In a panic Vinnie rushes to the scene where, out of nowhere, he is shot from behind by an unknown assailant. Its’ four funerals and a wedding as the newest Julian book unfolds.

A funeral.
An attempted murder of Vinnie! Why?
A seer who has her own agenda in raising someone from the dead past.
A power play involving many who also have their own agendas.

Of course, we're not just talking vampires here! Werewolves, shapeshifters, sex-demons all are plotting and planning after the bombing at the cathedral. All the characters are converging:The Baron, Quan, Aboiye, Andelaan, Ja-ne and many more. Who will win? Who will be destroyed? Who will be humiliated? Who will be haunted?

Let us not forget our two lovebirds, the uber hot and sexy Jean-Claude heir to the head of the werewolf clan and his sex-demon wife Jaime (who dresses in the style of the fourties) Their love is touching...yet some want their offspring destroyed! Follow them with hope and love.

Awww come on! Read the series! I can't give it all away!

You never know what Kyle Cicero will throw your way when you read his Mark Julian Vampire P.I. series....and I love that! Predictable? Not at all! ..Cookie-cutter stories? Never!.... Surprising plot? Absolutely!

No disappointments in this 6th? book of the series. It just keeps on getting better!
