About the author

Holly Karapetkova is a poet, translator, and childrens author. Her poems, essays, and translations from the Bulgarian have appeared in Mid-American Review, Crab Orchard Review, River Styx, and many other places. Her first full-length collection of poetry is Words We Might One Day Say, from Washington Writers Publishing House. She is also the author of over 30 childrens books and teacher resources. She teaches literature and writing at Marymount University in Arlington, VA.

A board book encouraging to notice squares and rectangles around us. Plenty of room for interpretive explanations, or a quick read.

Great beginning shape book for square and rectangle, but they are mixing terms with the wrong pictures. Cubes and squares might have worked better.
