Few of these techniques will be new to anyone in high school or beyond, but it's helpful to have the book as a reference with an organized structure. I think it's best if you also take note of which techniques you plan to use, which ones you need to improve on, and write notes adding your personal changes to the book's recommendation.

Has some good ideas needs to be updated to the way that students are in todays world with more computer information and smart phones. Most of my students don't use paper systems to keep track of notes and assignments.
