I bought an old used copy of this book. Nothing like getting your hands on an old library book that was last checked out in 1981. I chased it down from a bibliography in a more modern work on eschatology and am completely delighted that I did. Barrett produces this book from a series of lectures he did on the topic of Pauline eschatology. He does an outstanding job of working through the now and not yet aspects of the entire biblical narrative and shows us how the writings of Paul proclaim this certain truth with powerful and spiritual insight. His writing is not too heady and the book is very brief, but this was a joy to read and I would recommend it to anyone searching for reassurance and understanding.
