The Little Book of Anxiety

Rate this book
With humour, insight and searing honesty, Kerri Sackville opens up about the trials and sheer absurdities of living a worried life. From crazed nailbiting, to being hysterical in a jammed lift, to fearing her husband is dead when he's late home from work, Kerri has done it all.

I am a mother, wife, friend and writer living life from one crisis to the next.

I live with my husband The Architect, 12 year old Little Man, 10 year old Pinkela, 3 year old Boo, Spunky the unfriendly rabbit, and a ridiculously white couch.

My book, 'When My Husband Does The Dishes', was released in May 2011 with Random House Australia, and is available in all good bookstores, or online here.

In my spare time I enjoy eating Nutella, fantasizing about Simon Baker, drinking caffeine and alcohol with friends, and lying very still on the couch.

lots if little anecdotes. Some ring true, some make you feel sane in sn increasingly mad world but most of all it reminds us we are not alone in our anxieties

I thought it was quite repetitive and the severity of the anxiety defo seems like they should see a professional. Having so much anxiety not only affects your quality of like but as the book indicates, everyone around that person. I truly feel sorry for their husband and the authors anxiety genuinely sounds insufferable. There’s no indication of change or what they are doing to help this anxiety.

Thank you Kerri for sharing your life with us, and making me realise I'm not alone in my anxieties however silly they may seem!

A brilliant book, one I could really identify with. I did get an uplifting sense of not being alone in a struggle.
