Real working class hero.worked all week down the pit, inc saturday, then down to Cardiff to play international rugby! hard as nails but a true gent. Kind to animals and kids, homesick destroyer of outside halfs. A man amongst men. "the foreman calls him mister, the children call him Dai!"

One of the greats of the golden age of Welsh Rugby from the late sixties & early seventies. Very much the quiet man of the team (his nickname is very apt). It's a slight book and not particularly well written or particularly revealing but it's nice to see Dai Morris get time in the spotlight.
