Standard Hermon-produkt. Oversettelse av amerikansk bok. Stort sett interessante kart, men plaget av et amerikansk perspektiv, hvor alt ikke-engelsk blir glemt (f.eks. den lutherske misjonen til Grønland og India; hvorfor er ikke Nidaros et pilegrimsmål i middelalderen?). Oversettelsen er overdrevet bokstavelig. Eksempelvis kan vi lese om "stater i unionen", altså en bokstavelig oversettelse av "states in the union".
