Gardening for Mind, Body, and Soul by Annie Burdick is an absolute gem. The pages are stunning—filled with serene imagery and a calming design that mirrors the book’s nurturing message. Burdick’s writing is gentle, wise, and deeply thoughtful, offering a mindful approach to gardening that goes far beyond plants and soil. This book feels like a peaceful breath of fresh air and is as much a guide to inner growth as it is to cultivating a garden. A truly beautiful and inspiring read. I enjoyed reading a few pages each morning while drinking my coffee and sitting near my garden.

There’s nothing revolutionary here, as most of this information has been previously documented, but it’s useful having it all in one place. There were plenty of ideas that hadn’t occurred to me, such as planting for the senses. Worth a read, if you’re looking to gain maximum benefit to your mental health from your garden.
