I really enjoyed Offutt’s Conan desert adventure having first discovered it in the pages of Savage Sword of Conan #53-#58 wherein it was adapted.
I found the paperback years later, read it and found time to reread it again.
Conan comes across a few wizards, rulers, political machinations and intrigue, plenty of skirmishes and colorful characters and like usual violence. All well done by Offutt.
