Late review.

For someone that's fashion-impaired, this book is god-sent. Hence, my 5-star rate.

LOL.

But for someone that's trendsetter, this covers only the basics.

Learned a lot from this book. I usually wear clothes and accessories depending on my mood. Heck, most of the time I don't carry a bag with me. Just my phone, earphones, wallet and hankie are enough for me to last the day.

Though I don't agree with some of the tips as it borders my clothing comfort zone, but maybe in the near future, I'd use those tips once I come out of my shell.

As the title says 500 professional tips on fashion, beauty and attitude. A tiny book, it nevertheless has illustrations, lots of advice and suggestions. Pick this up if you really really do want to look better. A fun book!

I collect fashion books, this happened to be among them. The tips felt quite dated and I kept checking back that the publication year was really 1996 and not some time in the 80's like it seemed. I think I am not in the right demographic, profession, or state for these tips. Too much advice on hosiery, scarves, two piece suits, pumps, and so forth.
Life is too short for neutral colors and matronly attire... maybe I need to write my own book on this.
