"Love the series, even not exactly this particular title"

Hiring and Firing belongs to the series named Fifty Lessons comprising of handy tips from experienced business achievers on various practical management issues. I really like the idea of this series: the use of short articles written by working executives to transmit their hard earned experience. This is a valuable tool for getting a quick glimpse of business inspiration – especially when you just want to learn bits and pieces without taking the pain to invest a lot time for a formal education in the academic side of business and management. After the sweet, there comes the sour. As articles are extremely short (not necessarily concise) and contributed by different business personage with a wide range of backgrounds, ideas presented could be quite disperse, and most of the time as tidbits gliding on the surface of the topic discussed. One more sad news, I am sorry to say that “Hiring and Firing” might not be the top book in this Fifty Lessons series.
