Unimpressive book but it doesn't help that it features some unimpressive artists either. I have personally never been a fan of Gauguin or Pollack. It really should have featured Matisse as her painting at the end is vaguely reminiscent of his style and he was actually talented. I appreciate that at least Chagall is here, he's not often brought up in kids books. Last, Van Gogh and Monet, while I love their artworks, are often featured in children's books about art.

This book is great to help children to understand who painted which painting and especially in an Art lesson.
