The essays are organized into three the major labor sending countries of the Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and India; the key receiving nations of Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Canada; and three case studies focusing on Korea, Japan, and Australia as societies which do not yet have transnational domestic workers.
