Interesting journal about life in territorial Tucson, where the highlight of the day was welcoming the stagecoach and what it might bring.
True insight about the day-to-day of a frontier businessman. A must-read for the aspiring historian.

A must read for any Tucsonian. Extremely funny in its honest look at the Old Pueblo from a local saloon keeper in the 1870s.

A good read. The diarist is sympathetic even though he has sex with prostitutes, is drunk a lot, sick very often and uses words that should not be used in polite society.
