Professional SharePoint 2010 Branding and User Interface Design by Drisgill, Randy, Ross, John, Sanford, Jacob J., Stubbs, Paul [Wrox, 2010] (Paperback) [Paperback]
The SharePoint 2010 Development book I've read the most of. I sat down a few different days with this book and couldn't stop reading. I can't say it's for everyone, but it was very helpful to me and I've recommended it to others starting with SharePoint 2010 Development, not just for branding development.
Good read that gives a good overview of branding planning. I highly suggest having a solid CSS understanding. More reading about Sharepoint Designer and a deeper digging will be required before you're making pages like Remax and Ferrari, but it's a nice start to branding. Easy read and doesn't put you to sleep.
I thing the title should replace it's not for professionals at all ., it gets you around the very basic of CSS and XHTML with few practices ,,, and the best cheater that I thought it would be useful about XSLT List Render Modifications it gives me a brief and about tow pages it's just a glimpse of what i really needed from this book for me it was so disappointing ,,,
