This book is the sequel to Every Why in which you first meet the McPhail family. Be Mindful continues to follow the trials and tribulations of the six women as they endeavour, in their naive and inexperienced way, to create the idyllic life that old Angus McPhail envisaged for them. Mishaps and accidents continue to happen. Who could be responsible for them this time? Can Susan, finally rise to the challenges she is faced with? The riddle is finally solved. Is it a hoax or not? Will Dunnbray benefit? Read and find out.Be Mindful is a stand-alone story, but the reader will have more enjoyment from reading Every Why first.

I had read Every Why & liked it so much, I wanted a sequel. Be Mindful is the very thing & was worth the wait. I quickly got caught up in the McPhail family's challenges. Even though the villain is beyond obvious, the twists & turns kept me guessing. A compelling, fun read.

Oh dear......I loved the first book in this series and gave it 5 stars and bought this on the back of it. However, I laboured as far as 18% in and gave up. Lost commas, misplaced apostrophes then missing speechmarks too to cap things off. I was horribly disappointed but life's too short, I'm afraid, to waste time wading through so many mistakes.
It features the same group of people that were in Every Why. I think you'd be a little baffled in you didn't read the original story first, though.
I did mention apostrophe errors in my review of that but it wasn't unreadable as this one is.
It's rare you read one by an author that's so good and then the sequel is so horrible.
