I searched all over the internet and library resources for a thorough treatment of veils and wedding headpieces. This one is the best I found. Other books were simply incomplete. It covers different types of head pieces -headband,hat,wire frames, wreaths etc. types of embellishment and introductory instructions on each, edge finishes, veil shapes, veil widths, and fabric types. The discussion of fabric types was not as thorough as I would have liked, but you can fill in the gaps with the information in "Bridal Gowns" by Susan Andriks or "Sew a Beautiful Wedding" by Gail brown and Karen Dillon, both from Palmer/Pletsch publications.
