The tales and travels of Christopher Churchmouse in the Christopher Churchmouse Classics have been delighting young readers for more than ten years. Now Christopher and his cousin are off on new adventures in The New Christopher Churchmouse Adventures. Great stories with great messages, each one features discussion starter questions with lots of whimsical illustrations. Children will be inspired to grow in the knowledge of God and apply their Christian faith to the adventure of life.
Even though this had a good faith-based moral message about avoiding temptation even though sometimes it could be easier, I felt as if the story did not have closure. Did the 2 mice cousins continue to have trouble with the rat pirates? Did the mice reach France safely? Was the rest of the voyage uneventful? Were they reunited with their families speedily, or were there delays? If the story had had a satisfactory ending, and not left so many unanswered questions, I would have given this a higher rating.
