Maximum Black is a collection of some cool character illustrations from Timothy Bradstreet. This book was published way back in 1998.

The amazing use of black ink and contrast makes each portrait really striking. And there are plenty of details and textures in every piece. As he uses models for reference, there's a very strong sense of form, not to mention photo realism (in black and white).

Most of the illustrations are in black and white, with a few pages in colour.

Nice book.

Not much to report in the way of content here, just another collection of fantastic art from sci-fi/fantasy artist Tim Bradstreet. If you're a fan of the art from series such as Vampire: the Masquerade or Shadowrun, then you've seen countelss Bradstreet illustrations, mostly black and white, gracing their pages. He's one of my favorites.
