Wasn't sure what I was getting into with this book, but was pleasantly surprised. Without giving anything away, I felt I would have had the same feelings that the characters had if the same had happened to me. I started out through the first two-thirds loving it and in my mind, rating it a 5. Then it got weird and I was looking at a 3 rating, but ended (still a little weird), but going back up to a 4. Somewhat ingenious story from the author.

This book was amazing! It absolutely grabs your emotions at the very beginning (or "The End", as the author states it) and doesn't let go of them until the very end (or "The Beginning", depending on whether or not you believe "The Fog" was only in Rocky's mind or if it was real). Make sure you've got your box of tissues with you!
And I loved the little supernatural hints along the way! I sure hope there's a sequel and if there is, I wonder which way it will go.
